What We Are / What We Are Not
-
TinyTRA (Tiny Township Residents’ Alliance) is a community-driven group that empowers local residents with a voice to influence municipal policy, promote fiscal transparency and responsibility, and actively engage in shaping the future of Tiny Township.
-
An open and clearly explained approach where the steps, criteria, and outcomes are shared openly with the community so everyone can see how decisions are made and how participation shapes the result.
-
Providing a neutral, community-driven space where they can present their ideas, engage with residents, and gain visibility without party affiliation or institutional backing.
-
Compliance under Ontario’s Election Act means TinyTRA has formally has filed as a non-profit organisation and all related communications are clearly labeled, properly reported, and financially tracked so the process remains lawful, transparent, and are strictly informative and distinct from any official or formal endorsement or promotion of any kind.
WHAT WE ARE
-
TinyTRA is a non-partisan, community-based organization dedicated to representing the shared interests of Tiny Township residents, not endorsing parties or candidates.
-
A slate is a group of candidates presented together as a coordinated team, often sharing an endorsement or platform. TinyTRA is not putting forward a slate because our mandate is to provide a neutral, community-driven platform that supports independent candidates individually, rather than promoting any coordinated group.
-
Our mandate is to ensure an open, transparent process where candidates are identified and supported publicly, rather than being chosen behind closed doors.
-
Our process provides candidates with public exposure, allowing individual residents to decide for themselves whether to endorse or join a candidate’s campaign, without TinyTRA directing or managing any campaigns.
